What we collect
- Discord profile basics: id, username, display name, avatar, and email when Discord shares it.
- Content you create: posts, replies, messages, media, and reactions.
- Session data: an encrypted session cookie and the devices you signed in from.
- Safety data: blocks, mutes, reports, and moderation actions.
Why we use it
To run your account, show your feed, deliver notifications, keep the community safe, and understand which parts of the product need work. We do not sell personal data.
Who can see what
Public posts and profiles are visible to signed-in members. Private accounts and private groups restrict their content to approved followers and members. Direct messages are only visible to their participants, except where moderation or legal obligations require review.
Service providers
We use Vercel for hosting, Neon for the database, Cloudinary for media, Pusher for realtime delivery, Upstash for rate limiting, and Sentry for error reporting. Each provider processes only what it needs to deliver its service.
Your controls
You can edit your profile, change who may message or mention you, review your active sessions, and deactivate your account from settings. Deleting a post removes it from the product immediately.
Retention
Deleted posts are soft-deleted for a short window so moderation can review abuse, then purged. Session records expire automatically. Audit logs are kept for a limited period to investigate safety incidents.
Contact
Privacy questions can be raised with the JGRP staff team through the Discord server.
